Design work travels light. For years that was the whole plan — take the laptop, take the eye for craft, and see how far it goes. Twenty-four countries later, the place stopped being the point. The pattern showing up everywhere was.
Eventually the road led to the Bay Area and a seat as a senior visual designer inside rooms built for other people's visions — Apple, Kaiser Permanente, LiveRamp, names bigger than anything I'd built myself. Good work. Someone else's name on it.
It started as coincidence. A clock. A phone notification. A hotel key card. Then a license plate at a red light on a day that needed one. 1122 kept finding me, usually right before the next decision — less a number, more like an instruction.
Sixteen years of making other companies look right is sixteen years spent asking what the work would look like if it had to matter beyond the deck — if it had to leave something behind worth more than a polished interface.
Somewhere in there, entrepreneurship stopped being one option among several. It's the only path where that kind of impact is actually mine to build. MCXXII is the name for everything made from here — one mark, one coordinate, twenty-two ventures and counting.
